Sanjay Gujral

Sanjay is a business leader with close to three decades of experience across private capital investment management and corporate finance advisory.
As Chief Business Officer at Everstone, Sanjay has worked across various facets of at this private capital group, with over US$ 7 billion in assets under management across Private Equity, Logistics, Digital, Climate, and Venture Capital. He is currently focused on growing the Climate business, Eversource Capital.
Prior to re-joining Everstone in 2018, Sanjay was Regional Managing Director at L Catterton Asia. He had joined the firm in 2011 to lead its business in India and moved to Singapore in 2012 to take on a regional leadership role. Sanjay started his investing career with Everstone Capital in 2006. Before moving to the buy-side in 2006, Sanjay spent 11 years in corporate finance advisory with Arthur Andersen, EY and Ambit in India.
Sanjay obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 1995 and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University in 1993.
Till recently, Sanjay was Chairman of the Singapore Venture & Private Capital Association (SVCA) and served on the Executive Committee of the Singapore Funds Industry Group, a public-private initiative of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He continues to be involved with SVCA as a Board Member and Co-chair of the Climate Solutions Committee.
